Across Cultures is an intercultural services company and woman-owned business. Based out of Austin, Texas, we serve Houston, Dallas and locations worldwide.

We help individuals, companies and organizations work and communicate more effectively across all cultures and nationalities. Our accomplished team of experts can help you achieve your goals and succeed in culturally diverse environments through highly interactive programs that are tailored to your needs.

While providing you with hands-on country-specific know-how, our method will allow you to develop skills that you can apply to any cross-cultural situation, regardless of the target culture. In other words, we won't just "feed you a fish for a day" but "teach you to fish" so that you can sustainably be effective in multiple cross-cultural situations.

ABOUT ANNA KATRINA DAVEY
Founder and Director at Across Cultures

Anna Katrina Davey is a multicultural and multilingual intercultural trainer with extensive experience in design and delivery of cultural awareness, competence and relocation programs for individuals and groups. She has successfully delivered training at Fortune 500 companies and other organizations including Occidental Petroleum, Dell, Applied Materials, Adidas, Alcatel-Lucent, St. Jude Medical, Rotary and St. Edwards University.

In addition to her direct clients, she has provided training on behalf of global service providers including Cartus, IOR Global Services, Aperian Global, CEO International and Executive Language Training.

Anna Katrina is a dual citizen of Italy and USA and also holds a German diplomatic passport. She has extensive international living and work experience on three continents and has traveled to over 40 countries. Anna Katrina is fluent in Italian, German and English. She has also studied Vietnamese, Spanish, Latin and Ancient Greek.

Born and raised in Trieste, Italy, Anna Katrina earned a Master's degree in Geography, Ethnology and European Cultural Studies, from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany. She received further professional training in Intercultural Communication from InWEnt, the German government's organization for human resources development.

Anna Katrina has successfully worked in the field of international cooperation as Vice President of The International Partnership of Greater Austin, for the International Bureau of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as for the German Development Service (DED) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in Bonn, Germany. She has also worked as an intercultural advisor for the DED in Vietnam where she created a first-time intercultural training for Vietnamese counterparts of German international cooperation.

In addition to founding Across Cultures, she is Director of Language Expresso and leader in the Austin International Experience (AIE), an outreach program promoting the richness of global culture. For four years she also served as President of SIETAR Austin, Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research, bringing an array of thought provoking intercultural programs to the local community.

In her free time, Anna Katrina enjoys the outdoors, practices yoga, travels and dances salsa whenever she gets the chance.
